Can you imagine how joyful and stress free the rest of election night will be if Florida is called for the Dems early on?) But I do genuinely think the polls are greatly underestimating Harris’s advantage:

I have a hard time seeing how Florida could turn blue if Texas stays red, considering Florida is even redder than Texas these days.

I won’t post a map, but I played around with it and my prediction is simple, that Harris sweeps all 7 swing states and wins 319 EVs.

Is there any chance we can move this to Politics and keep it out of IMHO? I stay out of that forum so that I don’t have to see stuff like this.

This is worse than trying to avoid Christmas.

Put a gun to my head and I say the Electoral College is going to tie.
Trump will win/lose everything he did in 2020 except he will flip Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.
He will also win back the one electoral vote he lost in Nebraska.

Democrats retain a 50/50 split in the Senate (who under the split EC scenario selects the VP). With Harris casting the tie-breaking vote, Tim Walz becomes VP. Dems narrowly retake the House, but do not control a majority of House delegations. Speaker Jeffries refuses to hold a vote for President (knowing it would go to trump. January 20th comes around, no president is elected. VP elect Tim Walz becomes president.

I admit this is optimistic but I outlined my reasons here. My prediction for IA seems a little less crazy than it did yesterday.

For this that don’t want to click through to the thread, my opinion was heavily informed by small donor data and a few new Marist polls that had data on people that had already voted vs. likely voters that haven’t voted yet.

I am 75% certain this will be the map, not that it is what I want.

Harris will lose MI and thus the election.

I believe you may be overestimating the Michigan Muslim anti-Biden/Harris vote and underestimating the anger of the women voter over the demise of Roe. Don’t forget in 2022 Whitmer cruised to victory along with the SoS and AG.

Whitmer wasn’t pissing off Arab/Muslim Americans by continuing to arm Israel. I’ve posted about this elsewhere so all I will say here is these voters are supremely pissed off.

You are also assuming that these voters are supremely stupid, and think that a Trump administration will not continue to arm Israel, and also as a bonus, start putting these same voters into camps.
