Had some good luck early, sat on my thumbs for a while, and some good luck late. Meanwhile, lots of fireworks; some big betters early, and Yeti was up and down enough to give any normal human a case of the bends.

At the rate I’m going, next week I will have straight up won a multiple-K tournament on Pokerstars, and finish 9th in our league.

But yeah, I can believe the drama there, a friend of my cousins brought over his ferret to my Aunt’s house once, my aunt had a parrot. Ferret got out and had a nibble or two on a parrot leg.
and what’s weird is that she loves the chinchilla. and i think she was just kind of playing but she managed to knock the gerbil’s cage off the desk and then was just kind of batting the poor beast around and tossing it in the air. but much histrionics were required by peekid#3 and the missus.
don’t know what would have happened if i would have won that last hand. guess they would have to have dealt with it on their own.
neta: of course the chinchilla is pretty durn quick and can hop like a mofo. the gerbil just kind of scampers on the ground.
probably makes the damn gerbil a much more inviting target.
and i know this is a poker thread but in the interest of fighting ignorance. does anyone else know that chinchillas can get mold. if they get wet they can start growing mold. so you have to monitor their water source and make sure they are not getting mold. shoot i always thought that mold just grew on old cheese and bread. who would have thunk that a household pet could suffer from the same affliction.

Chinchillas can moldy? not surprising. Humans can get a fungus. 50% of humans can get yeast infections.
I win two weeks in a row (against a large field this week, too), and what happens? I’m upstaged by chinchilla mold.

Mensa, Others: What ““real”” sites do you guys play at? Pokerstars, FullTilt?
FOX has some attempt du jour to make Hold Em into a Game show,Negreanu and Pokerstars applied liberally into a " Lifeline " and Isolation Both formula. Seems a bit stretched, as I bet the profesionals on the show don’t have a free choice as the hour winds down. [Profesional players seem all too eager to go all in.]
Just seems to “fake” while trying to ride reality and poker.
Well, I just popped my cherry on PokerStars.
208th out of 5000.
I think that’s pretty damn good.
Went all on with pocket jacks, two after me called, both had King-middle. King came on the turn.
I have an ID at PokerStars, Full Tilt, and Ultimate Bet. UltimateBet is the only site that I have gambled real money at, and that was a free ride, courtesy of an Annie Duke contest.
I find Full Tilt functionality to be better. The table times out idle players faster. And the screen is much sharper.
