Suck My Tar Balls Through Your Vuvuzela - SDMB Poker - Q3, 2010

I’m on pokerstars too, and you’ve already beaten my track record (at least with only 2 tournaments under my belt: I’ve gone that far 3 times in my three weeks, which is far better than average, but still.)

Folding houses doesn’t bug me. At least compared to getting burnt on the last stud card in stud to a guy who was raising the whole round and didn’t have anything till the last card. Which happens occasionally, but I’ve had more than my fair share of it lately.

How do you upload an avatar on Stars? I looked and couldn’t find it.

Quasi-related : **How do you guys feel about the four color deck?
**
I can read regular cards just fine, but I opt for four colors whenever possible. Don’t see the reason not to, and if I ever do have real money riding on it, well, I’d want that net in place.

I’m nearly deaf in my left ear, always opt for subtitles on DVDs. My parents asked me why I do that… And I told them. We tried with the titles off once, -they where the first to ask “What did he say?” – Also, you get to read lyrics to songs sometimes, that adds a bit more to the movie.

Meeko, now I have this mental image of you and your parents watching “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” together. Thanks.

Oh, and this would have been the most annoying thing on Pokerstars, if they had continued their lucky streak:

So some guy had just hit on the last card and beat the stronger hand. Someone said “gh”. He replied “you mean good PLAY. Phuck da hand!”

Yeah, he continued his lousy playing and lost a few hands later. Which is why I didn’t resent him since I wanted him in the room as long as possible.

Still have yet to see Rocky Horror.

But, I did have the displeasure of watching Pulp Fiction with my Parents.

I can’t imagine what my parents would have been like, if they had Wikipedia growing up.

Tried another tourney today on Stars.

Players were more aggressive that I have been of late.

Crap cards didn’t help either.

Played some " 8 Game " on stars. Razz is real interesting.

To say nothing about playing a H.O.R.S.E. type format. Cribbage has nothing on changing the game each Orbit.

Likely to fold a Lo hand in a Lo game.

Oh wait, I already did.

Don’t go dissing cribbage, meeko!!

what mensa said.

i just got the fifteen year old and the thirteen year old interested in playing.

we borrowed a board from my dad who is 85 or so. i thought it was just something that he brought back from japan when he was stationed there in the late 50’s after korea.

turns out it is a board that his great grandfather brought from germany in the 50’s. the fracking 1850’s.

he bought them a custom made board up in michigan.

life is good in the cribbage lane.

I break cribbage down into 3 games, deciding to crib, the uh, middle part, and the show.

T.H.O.R.S.H.E.A. Is 8.

Cribbage is 1 in 5 people Crazy. THORSHEA is 1 in 5,000 Crazy*. That’s all I’m saying.

I probably need a top three finish next week to pass frosty, but I doubt I can crack first or second.

Put your thinking caps on for next quarter’s theme!

So we are indeed pegged to the Calendar in regards to Quarters?

Actually my screenname comes from the fact that I do perform mentalism. Unless I have mentioned that before, I guess that makes you the real mentalist.

I prefer Max Maven over Derren Brown. But I don’t think brown has gotten a fair shake.

Still Maven seems to just bring more to the table.

I do some Max Maven stuff. He is an excellent creative thinker, but the best stuff I do is from Richard Osterlind.
