Pretty much a nothing day. Did banking this morning and spent the afternoon talking myself out of mowing the lawn. Watched the last 45 minutes of the most recentt 'Fantastic Four' movie and understand why it killed the franchise-Lord it was terrible. (possibly Disney could make it live again, but I'm skeptical).Called my Brother to wish him happy B-day, he can be the most uncommunicative human bean at times, partly because we avoid politics and religion (I am a Hubert-Humphrey liberal agnostic, he’s a Rush Limbaugh conservative Lutheran fundamentalist).
Browsing the internets for a little while.
Worked, went to Select-A-Seat at The Castle. Made rainbow trout with leom butter, rice with mushrooms, and spinach with olives, rosemary, and thyme.
I recommend bonging a fifth of Everclear.

No big plans for the day other than seein’ OYKW off to the wilds of west Alabammy. Don’t think I mentioned this but he’s goin’ to see his mother this weekend. He shall return on Moanday. Thus I shall be sans adult supervision for the next few days. This means I can have ice cream for breakfast and cookies for sup! 
I foresee some quality cee-mint pond time this afternoon. Think I will hold off on the lasagna from a box (don’t judge!) until next week as I really don’t want to eat lasagna for three days.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

I figured out part of why I’m waking at stupid hours - I have dreams in which I look at the clock and realize I’m late for something, then I wake and look at the clock and realize I was dreaming. It’s not fun, I can tell you…
Our yard has been seeded and PJ is coming back today to put down some lime and fertilizer. **FCD **is supposed to go buy a couple of sprinklers so we can encourage the grass to grow. With luck, we’ll have a lawn some time this summer. Oh goody - mowage! 
Meanwhile, there’s crap on my desk to be done. Happy Thursday!!

Well, a fairly productive morning. Got the garbage out and sent inquires to three home remodeling places, we’ll see what responses I get.
Looks like once it gets hot in Ali-bama, it stays that way; highs are forecast in the mid-80’s, low 90’s for the next week-10 days.
Now need to forage (if cheeseburgers at 9am are wrong, I don’t want to be right) and try to talk myself into lawn mowage.
Blurf. I decided to take the day off and use 8 comp hours. I will probably cook a nice meal. I am thinking beef stew. Hoping for a very quiet day.

I am so glad that thunder doesn’t bother Ripple.
We have to go out today, to pick up prescriptions and groceries.
The drug store still hasn’t fixed the drive up window, but they told me to bring Ripple in with me.
They said as long as he isn’t pulling things off the shelves or potting on the floor it’s okay, and if anybody says anything just say he is a service dog and I forgot his vest.
I hope it stops raining when it is time for us to leave.
I got a letter from a mortgage company wanting me to refinance through them, and they can save me money.
The quoted payment they gave me is higher than what I am already paying.
I got an email from the college saying that all first year students have to live in campus housing.
I guess they send it to everybody even though there is no campus housing here.
Sah-son is exempt anyway because he is over 21.
It may do him some good to ive in a dorm though, but not a lot of sense for him to move to Allegheny County when the college here is within walking distance - a long walk, but still doable.
However, they still need a copy of his immunization records. Now I have to try to find those.
He couldn’t get through high school without them so I have no idea why the college needs them, especially since he isn’t living in a dorm.
I know he is overdue for a tetanus shot, so am I, but I doubt that is what they are worried about.
Time to get busy again.

Sahirrnee, it is probably more PER payment, but FEWER payments. Unless they are like most financial institutions, and lying through their teeth.
But on the other hand beer on cornflakes isn’t nearly as bad as you would think.
Another friend may escape Da Jungle; he’ll know in a few days if he is going to want the 31st to be his last day. Much better gig and more money as well as hopes for the future; I hope he gets it.

Hello mumpers - I am sure I logged in at least three times to post something and then got sidetracked by work things. That would be in three separate days this week. Sometimes it’s tough being the responsible adult 
Irk is crazy stupid with exams at the moment, but my newbie is doing well and picking up stuff where she can. We are starting her off properly in her new role next week as we’ve got the part-timer ready to do something else now so although we’re not exactly throwing newbie in at the deep end, we kind of are. I am sure she’ll cope, she seems to be picking things up quickly.

I’ve spent the greater part of this morning working on a drawing for a very complex model that keeps throwing errors. I was just told not to work on it. So most of my morning was wasted. rah.
Granddaughter has gained a pound and grown almost an inch in her not-quite-first month. Go Roxy!!
I had a call from the computer people and my computer that got drownded by a glass of tea is dead. Cannot even save my data. Dammit. Hubby told me to pick out a new one and he will pay for it but recreating all my templates etc will be a pain in the ass.
