I had a nice rehearsal last night. The concert is coming up later this month.
Darn it. I will now repeat this experiment on other cereal to find one that works. 
I survived a hectic day yesterday of flying to CA, swapping paperwork to a different house that is available earlier and costs less, and eating at an interesting Afghan restaurant (I kept hearing Tony Stark saying “anyone want shwarma?”). It was pretty good.
Today 'Beamette goes to the neurologist. Tomorrow we go back to Orygun.

Can they pull the hard disk out of the old one & put it into the new one as a secondary HDD so that you can read data, at least one time to get the templates / other data copied over? Accidentally drowning the motherboard beyond repair, sure. Drowning the HDD w/ an accidental spill is tougher to do. Mebbe you want to take it somewhere else; just sayin’.

yeah ya have to be really the wrong special to be able to kill an hdd with liquid especially in a tower since they tend to be buried
just a question what do you get for a new mom for mothers day or does it not count until next year ?
Mothers Day counts, even if you give birth on that day! 
As to what to get - I dunno - offer to keep the kid so Mom can sleep?
Layoffs happening at irk today. I am safe, but feel so terrible for those who aren’t, and for those who have to break the news. This sucks.
Howdy Y’all! I had a visit from grand goddaughter this mornin’ which was fun! I am her godfather (I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse.) but due to my shall we say advanced years, I call myself her grand godfather. She wreaked havoc and chaos as only a two year old can do. It was fun!

sari, Nelson can deal with rain on the roof, but add in thunder/lightening/wind and he’s a mess. I woke up in the middle of last night to a thunderstorm and a whimpering pup. Cuddling took care of the worst of it, but there was more thunder midmorning and I found a puddle beside his crate when I came home.

Today was the third Monday this week. On the actual Monday, I was having a root canal. It was preferable to the irk Mondays.

Got an email link to the proofs from the race I did on Sunday. The finish line is two vehicle lanes wide. They sent 25 shots. I’m visible in only 9 of them. Only two of the 9 are me up close. The others is a big crowd of finishers, the finish banner, & the clock hanging below the finish banner. Except since I wasn’t in the first wave, the clock is over by more than 4 mins. Do you think I really want shots with a time worse that what I finished in? :smack:

No real big plans for the day so that would be a good idea. Maybe I shall. Or not. OYKW made it safe to the wilds of west Alabammy. He’s goin’ to Meridian, Sippymissy with his mom and sis today. Woo and Hoo. Meridian is the “big city” 'round those parts. Tomorrow is a big family cookout and on Sunday he will go to church with his mom and take her out for N.O.L. I on the other hand shall run with wild abandon all weekend. OK, play on teh intartoobz and binge watch teh Netflix.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day which might or might not include mowage.

I have decided that I am well and truly ready to re-retire. Even if I wasn’t doing the stay-at-home-grandma thing, the end of this year would be it. I like my job - I really do - but I think I’m done working. Maybe I’ll get bored again in a few years, but for now, I’m ready.
And a week from today, we head to Florida… again… so we have one week left of our comfy routine. Wonder what the new routine will be like? Crowded, for one thing.
