The Bloomin' MMP

It could be worse.

The bingo at the home went well. The Harley dealer came across with a lot of t-shirts this year so we had plenty of stuff to give away. Some faces I remembered and some new faces and I only learned of one from last year who had an “involuntary transfer”.

That is their way of saying he died.
Dropped off the Sportie and bought flowers before heading and there and used the car rather than Bessie. Good call because it started to storm just as we were leaving Highland Park.

Other than that not much. VET posted for tomorrow but I still have hopes of getting the flowers in so … am holding off for now.

Get a grip.
:dubious:

Coached boys (lost 0-5), had one team not show up for the next game so got some rest instead of refereeing, refereed another game and then coached my girls (won 4-2). Temperature has hit 91F, so I am cooling down and nappage is likely.

swampy, glad you gave Ed a good sendoff.

Bumba, usually pays to check if something doesn’t seem right; glad they straightened the co-pay out in your favor.

Happy 12th, Lucky Louie.

FCM, I hope someone in his family is keeping an eye on your friend; that much sorrow in a relatively short time can really mess with someone…

Lawn mowage tomorrow, there is no putting it off. May do the front yard in the morning and the back in the evening. We shall see how it goes.

**MetalMouse **- he hasn’t any family in the area, but we’ve more or less adopted him (them, when she was alive) and they adopted our family. My mom and sis were with him today and he’ll continue to be included in our family events.

I’m about to shower the daily crud off me, then head to the grocery store - we’re out of bread and almost out of milk and ice cream! I’d rather go today than tomorrow.

Long, tiring day, but lots done, so a good day.

on the reins, before Silver rears up on his hind legs. Good advice! :dubious:

Better get some eggs too…just in case it snows. :stuck_out_tongue:

I had eggs, thanks! :stuck_out_tongue:

Home and about to assume robe-and-slippers phase. I’m beat!

Moooooom, I planted marigolds today too, along with petunias, sage, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, oregano and peppermint.

Happy birthday Louie!

I gave the patio furniture a wash up and swept the patio after potting the plants that I bought today. It’s later than I got them out last year, but April was just so godawful cold.

We went to the dog park then picked up a burger and salad from DQ before coming home. There may be a Sonic ice cream run later this evening.

Such an exciting Saturday night in middle Tennessee. :stuck_out_tongue:

Truer words were never spoken :stuck_out_tongue:

Ended up working a double. And working tommorow. On the brightside, I get OT.

Happy Birthday Louie!!!

You just got home, and you’re going back out to Wally World?:wink:

I am just doing the nite shift tomorrow. Storm woke me up but the OW can drive the loop of cemeteries and I can nap. So where else to be at 1:18am than here?

Happy birthday Louie!!!

We had a storm last night, too, tho it was about the time we went to bed, so it didn’t wake me. However, a series of really bizarre dreams did. So did Taz and Cleo having a yowling fight in the bedroom next to ours. I’m feeling seriously zombie-like this morning.

Plantage, laundry, and vacuuming/carpet cleaning on the agenda for today. It’s supposed to be cooler than yesterday, so there’s that.

Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Sunday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 67 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 94 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Plans for the day are to deheathenate which I think I’ll do Luterun style, grab some N.O.L. whilst out and about (thinkin’ a <snerk> Quickie! <snerk> since they start servin’ at ten-thirty, and some quality cee-mint pond time. Plus nappage. I could put the other three ceinin’ fans up (replacin’ all the fans in da cave) but I think I’ll save that for durin’ the week when it’s supposed to be stormy.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, purtification for deheathenization must commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all! Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mother types.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work. Poke loin is brining for dinner.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

  • I wonder if my customers will get me a card today. They do call me “mother” a lot.

I decided yesterday that we’re not going out for breakfast today. It’s going to be insane. Unless we just grab a McBreakfast - that’s always easy.

Going out to mow the lawn. Alert the press.

Howdy Y’all! I am all deheathenated. Decided not to stop for a <snerk> Quickie! <snerk> as I am not particulary hongry at the moment. Not to worry though as foodstuffs are readily available for consumption right here in da cave.

What is this strange motorized sound I hear? Sounds like it’s comin’ from somewhere around north Alabammy.

Happy Sunday!

Happy Belated Birthday Louie!

Happy Mothers’ Day!

It’s not raining now but it has been off and on all morning, and is supposed to rain through Thorsday.

Nothing special going on today.
Finish cleaning up the mess I created yesterday when I emptied out a bunch of drawers.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Tis a quiet day at CasaRoja.

The only things that I plan on doing are the usual Sunday chores of prepping breakfasts and lunches for the week, folding towels and cooking supper (ham and mushroom quiche). It depends on how warm it gets on whether we go to the dog park today. Nelson has a few allergies (thanks Grandpa Popo!) and has been sneezing when we come in from outside. I’m going to find out how much benedryl to give him when he goes in for his wellness vet visit next month.
