I did a stupid thing, I bought a big bag of sourdough hard pretzels.
Those things are addictive.
My best friend is in the hospital. She thought it was an ear infection, seems to be a bit more. She can’t even lift her head without the whole room spinning. It’s kind of worrying, her liver enzymes are too high.
She’s hoping to be released today though.
She’s pushing 70 but she does more in one day than I do in a week. Always busy.
The mortgage company paid the city taxes, so I don’t have to.
You did at least use a rolled up newspaper, didn’t you?
Congrats on the new gig, bobbio!
It got cooled down yesterday afternoon by hella T-boomers. I had left my truck window down a crack and by the time I got out of my meeting, the whole driver’s side was sopping wet, including the windshield. Good thing the roll of paper towels was behind the passenger seat. It dropped the temp to the low nineties (steam and all). I just about needed gills to breathe when I went outside.
Howdy Y’all! I survived hump day. YAY! Anywho, dindin has been et and I’m supposed to be at the church house at five-thirty for a meetin’ about VBS. VBS will be held Sunday-Wednesday evenin’s next week. I am chef de cuisine as dindin shall be served each night. Ok, Tuesday will be easy cause we’ll order pizza, but sallit will be made. Wednesday will be a cookout at Chehaw Park, which is two miles from da cave so that’ll be easy.
Also, looks like a tstorm is brewin’ so I shall wait a bit to see if it happens before I leave.
Well so much for that! Big tstorms movin’ through. Right now it’s not bad at da cave but there are major storms comin’ through town right in the path betwixt here and the church house. So, da bear called and said I’m not comin’. Then I got a text informin’ me the meetin’ is cancelled due to the weather. We are gettin’ a bunch of rain but it’s just thunderatin’ all around. Fine by me cause I know what I gots to do.
I’m hungry so I may put myself on break and grab something to eat, or maybe not yet. I had a scrambled egg and cheese sandwich for lunch, that usually sticks with me pretty long.
Calling all cars. Calling all cars. Be on the look out for… now listen to this: Dangerously and accomplices dressed as nuns driving a sedan covered with… oh you’ll love this… duckies and bunnies. Calling all cars. Calling all cars. Come to Dooley’s bar and grill. I’m buyin’.
Herself is somewhere over the mid-Atlantic right about now. Got dindin for free at a local bike night and saved the drinking for when I got home and now. And later. More now than later. Its nice not having a responsible adult around.
It is odd to consider how Japan and Australia are cooperating and sharing. I am told that half of Australia was prepared to evacuate during WW II.
But I digress.
My back hurts like hell.
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) gave me my simponi injection yesterday, so I think things will be cool in a day or two.
She enjoys giving me injections. I am not sure why, but Mrs. Plant (v.2.0) would have used a rusty decking screw.
