To be fair the OP didn’t say those were lies, just that if they tell the truth it’s an accident.
To pick one video: the Biden administration are not remotely “radicals”, they’re not opposed to “unity”, they’re not “hysterical” and they’re not pushing for “the extermination of the Republican Party”. Note that in the video Gingrich makes the last claim and supports it by referring to something a newspaper columnist said (a newspaper columnist who, strangely, is not part of the Biden administration). Persistent, open, blatant lying, and that’s just the first minute of one video.
So the real question is: why don’t you see the lies? Is it the same reason people in Trafalgar Square can’t see England?

A great example of right-wing projection. They are so use to considering right-wing media an extension of the Republican party, they simply assume other media is an extension of the Democratic party.

The lie is pretty much that it does not matter in the least what Biden did. They would criticize with the same furor whatever action Biden took. Wearing the mask, not wearing the mask…irrelevant. They will be up in arms.

I mean, I didn’t vote for Bernie Sanders, but the worst reason to not nominate him was that Republicans would label him as a “radical left wing socialist”, as if they weren’t going to do that to whoever the candidate was.
The main argument for Biden was that he was not a radical. Just a middle of the road moderate with a track record of working with Republicans. And of course, to Fox et. al. he is a radical communist and to the far right, he is a Chinese agent.
Shortly, they will have some pundit on claiming that Biden is actually Chinese.

The main argument for Biden is that he has seen every trick up their sleeve. I don’t think he’s naive or for a moment dumb enough to believe that he can trust the Republican party ‘moderates’ to be true to their word when they suggest that they might possibly be open to bipartisanship, but he’s going to figure out what might actually motivate some of their voters in certain districts and states, and he’ll put pressure on them to choose between federal relief that he can offer them or to fall on their own sword.
I think Biden can be the Jerry Brown of the presidency. An old guy everyone writes off as a washed up careerist politician entering the executive office at a time when there’s cut-throat partisanship and obstructionism. Granted, California’s probably an easier place to get through an agenda, but it’s not an easy state to get tax increases through and he was able to build coalitions to repair their budget. Biden can act in a similar capacity, IMO.
He’ll have to. Biden has to succeed, and hopefully, there are enough Republicans who want to see the country remain a functioning democracy that may, just maybe, he can get them to play along on critical issues, especially economic issues.
I think Fox is trapped; they’re competing with OANN, Newsmax, and others to keep the crazies watching. They’re a bartender that sells kegs of bullshit and now their audience is hooked and demands that they have it on tap 24 hours a day – and they’ll go down the street to another bar if they don’t get it. They’re going to hire several of these clowns because they have to.
I have a sinking feeling that there will almost certainly be more extremist violence, some of which will be aimed at disrupting the function of democracy either at the state or national level. What it will likely ultimately take to change the dynamic is an incident or two that causes such sheer, massive collective outrage that their advertisers have the spotlight shined on them as essentially bankrolling far right terror. A few benefactors pulled away after the Capitol insurrection, but since the drama was short-lived, this will gradually fade from collective memory.
But the right wing’s hunger and thirst to up the ante is incessant. This is almost certainly not over, and they will be motivated to make what happened on January 6th look like a walk on the beach. We’re probably in for a rough ride until there is grassroots revulsion - so much that the word “Republican” gets the same reaction as Nazi.
And since the reaction to “Nazi” now is that they are “fine people”, I don’t know how much good that does.
That’s Trump’s reaction to a particular incident, that’s not the view of Nazis in America. The vast majority of people aren’t saying Nazis are okay.
