Tiger Woods injured

That’s a good question.
My take is as follows.
I buy and install a mailbox at the end of my driveway. It is MY mailbox.
The Mailman delivers my mail by putting it in MY mailbox. The mail is now MINE.
Anyone care to differ?

So long as it is approved by the USPS and meets all their regulations, you’ll get no grief. Just don’t be a smart-aleck:

I believe it is actually the property of the US Government.
Here is a crummy link. Google is not my friend tonight.

Link?

Yes, in the sense that they can regulate it. For example it’s illegal to pass advertising around your neighborhood by putting leaflets inside of the mailbox. Did you ever notice that they’re usually taped or attached with an elastic band?

I know this from experience. I passed out leaflets once in my neighborhood by placing them in the box. I received a nastygram from the post office saying they had all been collected and that they were being courteous by choosing not to fine me.

So the kids who drive around and smack them with a 2 x 4 could be sent to Guantanamo.

2nd Statement by Tiger Woods.

Admits to transgressions. Fairy tale life is tumbling down.

Is Tiger any different than athletes in other sports? Even an ugly dude can get laid if he plays professional sports. A superstar that’s nice looking can get laid every night. Wilt Chamberlain’s book (claiming 20,000 women) is one exaggerated account of the sports groupies that hang out at team hotels.

I’m not sure why fans think Tiger is any different than other athletes or rock stars. Yeah, he’s married and should stop. That’s something he has to discuss privately with his wife.

A Billie Holiday song comes to mind, Ain’t Nobody’s Business But My Own.

So from crash to confession, that took about 5 1/3 days before he had to drop the privacy thing and admit he’d been unfaithful to his wife. I think it goes to show not that privacy is impossible today, but that if the tabloid press and tabloid public get even a hint that somebody famous is covering something up, the purported wrongdoer is going to be hounded until something comes out. That’s not to excuse anything he did, but I’m always a little amazed by the frenzy that surrounds stories like this. It’s like people are out for blood as soon as they think someone famous is hiding information they are entitled to have. I was curious about this too, it goes without saying. But what did Tiger do that offended everybody so much? He won some golf tournaments and maybe a minority of people thought he was a bit arrogant?

Well, he finally admitted it.

I hadn’t refreshed this page. Sorry for the “old” news.

I don’t think hes dropped the privacy thing at all, nor does he plan too.

There’s now a voice mail that sure sounds like him asking the latest “girlfriend” to please “quickly” remove her name from from her incoming call settings as “my wife went through my phone”.

Hope he plans on buying something really nice for Elin for Christmas.

He was screwing the girl from “Tool Academy”? Hilarious!

No, but he admitted something he did not want to admit and had tried to keep private for the last few days.

After it was already public.

Yep, just nudged his stonewall back a tad.

Guess his wife decided she would rather have 100% of a lot of money instead of 50%.
