He probably drops my name in conversations with them.
(That would account for them being exes )
I know! The only ones I’ve wanted to see are Vampire (for Brad and Kirsten though) and A Few Good Men (just so I know wtf “You can’t handle the truth!” is about in context).
And Erdosain, you’ll be pleased to know that Cocktail and Days Of Thunder are among the others I haven’t seen.
I will have you know I’m still looking for that young lady in the pink bikini from “Kokomo”. No wonder Carl Wilson croaked after viewing her.
Unless you feel like you need to be punished for something horrible that you’ve done, do not watch Cocktail or Days of Thunder. They are unbelievably bad.
They may not be great films, but considering how many movies she watches it seems like famous classics like those should at least be seen. Though I’ve never seen Jerry Maguire either.
Pleasepleaseplease.
You can have him man.. Other than that nice work in Tropic THunder I avoid Tom projects.. Just speaking on myself.. Just tired of seeing that “earnest look” he really doen’t have a number two go to move..
That’s not entirely true - they feature a couple of excellent performances from supporting actors Bryan Brown and Robert Duvall, respectively.
No supporting actor performance can save those movies. Cocktail is probably one of the worst movies I’ve ever had the misfortune of seeing. My wife still has both of these on VHS.
I would recommend watching The Outsiders if only for the novelty of seeing the cast before many of them became much bigger stars. And Cruise’s role is pretty small.
You can watch him get to shot to hell in Taps.
I highly recommend Interview with the Vampire. That is the only Tom Cruise movie I’ve seen aside from Tropic Thunder** and he was good enough in his role that I frequently forget that he was in it. Not that his performance was forgettable, I mean that as in he played the role well enough that I watched the movie thinking of him as “Lestat” not “Tom Cruise in vampire fangs.”
Anyway- I feel bad for Suri not only for her odd lifestyle and parents divorcing, but because it seems like she’s likely to become a pawn in the proceedings which is awful.
Yes, it is, compared to Scientology. At least Scientology can be traced back to who made it up and why.
And at least the community is actually rather healthy.
While I’ve only seen the scene online, separated from the movie itself, it appeared to me that they never show her nipples and her face in the same scene at the same time. In the comments we concluded it was a body double, hence why she could still claim she’d never done a nude scene.
Oh hell no. She in mondo topless in that movie, and the jubblies are hanging out for all to see.

My wife and I were at a friend’s house this weekend having a drink and socializing and out of nowhere she says “Did you hear Tom Cruise just shaved his beard?”
This is Cafe Society, not Great Debates. Start a new thread there if you want to discuss the pros and cons of any particular religion.
Everyone, please stay on topic. Tom Cruise is obviously the best-known Scientologist out there [sic], and it may well be that religious differences are a factor in this divorce, but Scientology qua Scientology is not the issue here.
Thanks,

I had NO idea she was a virgin when she did that scene, and yes, that was by far the best part of the movie and the only scene i can remember.
Wow. Somehow I got it into my head that she was flat chested.
Best line I heard on the subject:
