My guess is that Damuri was shut down on that topic in all other forums, so he tried sneaking it in to MPSIMS. Maybe he’ll try to think of a way to make black inferiority a topic in Cafe Society.

When people were losing their shit over “the worst thing ever” (the move to discourse), I decided to put all the “I’m done with this place” flouncers on my ignore list forever, but one actually had the presence of mind to opine (admit) that they might be back in a few months, so I only put them on ignore for a year.
So that’s an example. When someone qualifies their implied request to be ignored with a time limit. I like to reward that kind of self awareness.
Anyway, speaking of people on my ignore list…

At the risk of opening the “blacks cut down their own people, so shouldn’t it be OK for whites” can of worms, here’s Uncle Ruckus from the Boondocks commenting on black artists.
I get the feeling that none of you actually read the post.
I was countering arguments we see on this board that try to associate black/white disparity in things like income to disparites in things like illegitimacy rates instead of racism.
I presented the argument presented by people who explain black/white disparity is not the result of racism because things like illegitimacy fully explains these disparities
Then I pointed out that similar disparities in illegitimacy etc exist between whites and asians but the disparities in income, etc. do not seem to exist there.
So I was saying that there must be something else and i think that something else is racism. Both negative racism towards blacks (and probably asians) and privilege directed towards whites.
I just wanted to share that point. But somehow, despite the fact that the illegitimacy argument is presented repeatedly on this board, people thought my post was an attempt to disparage black people or racism or something like that. I don’t get it.
Because the fiddle shaped peghead for a banjo is my favorite.

Related to our new possible sock puppet, I’d like to commend kaylasdad for trolling the board with his “welcome to the community” posts. Irate that no one agreed with his complaint about discobot posting welcome messages, he decided to take the passive-aggressive route.

I can’t really see it as trolling, for two reasons. One, it’s not about pissing people off but making a point. For the mods to sanction him, they’d have to admit that people shouldn’t follow discobot’s message, which is a good argument for changing said message. To me, the term trolling is reserved for those who post just to make people upset.
But, more importantly, welcoming posters is actually something we’ve been doing here for a long time. Sure, if everyone did it, it’s annoying. But it’s usually just one or two posters who say it, and then the thread goes on.
At most, I’d expect the mods to tell him to give other people a chance, or to try and include a response to the thread in addition to the welcome.
Anyways, I got distracted by the FP show, and almost forgot the reason I came here.
I think we now can tell that Tim_R.Mortiss is trolling. He’s been pretty trolly in his support of Trump, bringing it up in this snarky manner in threads talking about bad things Trump has done that seems designed to try and piss people off… But it was just on this side of plausible that he was legitimately upset at people being mean to Trump.
But trying to act like it would even possibly make sense to blame Obama for the pandemic that happened in 2020 on Trump’s watch after he had defunded the federal department for pandemic response? It’s too stupid.

Posted in only one thread, only partially sensible, and is very aggressive to anyone that doesn’t say what he wants them to say.
Sadly, it’s a topic that I wouldn’t mind perusing, but the rules laid down before one is allowed to participate are a bit much.
Those posts read like a trock who is trying to establish a new board personality to avoid being detected but hasn’t quite got there. I have no guesses as to who the puppeteer might be; could be any recently banned sealion.
