Who are the dead people? I’m assuming that **DiggitCamara **cannot question the ‘mostly dead’ people.

Do we really believe Thing Fish got their results from the investigation if he was killed in the Night?

Since the mostly dead people can still post if they feel like it, I don’t see a point in having a power to talk to them…
I have not seen any one dead besides Hawk having been able to post in here. But dead scum might somewhere else??
I can’t vote. Just make subtle VOTE COOKIES suggestions.
So I still have no computer and posting from my phone is a pain in the ass.
unvote chucara
I will be following along and will post if I have to and as soon as I an ready to revote someone I will. Other than that don’t expect tooich from me till Monday.
(Emphasis mine.)
…and then we had this Morning’s reveal.
Seems fairly obvious that the mostly deads can still post to the game thread regardless of alignment.
Before anyone starts suggesting to vote in place of hawkeye, I’ll say this:
We could easily pick the scummiest people to vote whatever dead townies suggest, but it would ruin the information we would get form their votes which IMO is more valueable than having one vote moved from a potential scum to a confirm townie.
That being said, looking into whoever they suggest is not a bad idea at all.
I think he means that he’s forced to move his vote to a candidate with a good chance of getting lynched, so he isn’t up on the chopping block himself.
What’s man-flu?
…I’m not sure I believe you. But that’s at least partially confirmable.
Unvote DiggitCamara
P.S. What does Camara mean?
I said that if you were town I’d look more closely at your results, and I will. NAF’s a confirmable power role, and I still have that gut feeling about Cookies, so for now I’ll
Vote amrussel
but since I suspect Chuc is a deadbeat, I don’t have a problem with his lynch.
Bolding mine. I didn’t want to snip for fear taking it out of context.
First bold.
Hawkeye, I thought you had conceded that the dispute you had with Cookies was just due to a difference in strategies. Maybe it was someone esle. I’ll have to go back and look.
But as I recall, Cookies did try to discourage the Macey vote. And that’s as good of a lead as I have on anyone at this point.
Vote Cookies
As for the second bold. This is exactly what I said after Naf claimed. It’s just like the power Hal Briston had in the Batman mafia - if he figured everyone out he, and only he, wins. So, yeah I’m a little leary of giving NAF too much info.
brewha: Can you elaborate on Hal Briston in Batman?
I’m not saying that NAF might not be PFK (or scum), but I think we should not kill him until he has confirmed a few people. Then we can kill him to confirm that he is town.
Screw it, maybe it is better just to have NAF confirm people. If he is town, scum is going to kill him anyway, and if he isn’t we’ll make sure to lynch him before he can reach such a win condition.
**NAF, ** please confirm that you’ve read this.
Don’t investigate my Alhpa/Beta status, just investigate people as you see fit, trying to avoid masons. Let me know if you disagree. I still won’t give up my alpha/beta status, as there might be PFKs who need it for something.
It’s not uncommon to have abilities work even when killed. Say the doc is targeted for a kill by the mafia, and player X is targeted for a kill by the SK. Say the doc protected player X. I would expect that only the doc dies that night. By that logic, Thing Fish should have received results. In most games, it would be a moot point, but in a game where players don’t always die all the way? Pretty important, I’d say.
Even in light of the claim?
I think you’re thinking of hawkeye and me, not cookies.
Interesting. Can you elaborate on that role? I didn’t read Batman.
Well, that’s certainly a different tune then the one you had Day one. I might start to be less suspicious of you. Maybe.
And in Batman, Hal Briston was the Riddler. His goal was to learn the roles of all the players in the game, at which point he would win and leave the game. He managed to talk everyone into a mass role claim, which was great for him, but he still hadn’t managed to work out which scum were which before they got him.
I read your post chucara.
I would understand the fear of me more if what I was doing was anything like what Hal did. All I can do is determin the truth of a statement that has no grey area. What win condition could I possibly be fullfilling? What information could I be collecting by asking if pee are town?
Also I suspect that my power as I am using it would see through a godfather type.
Ok that’s it for now.

Time delayed double post. Awesome
Well it isn’t as much that I think you’re not town as much as I think it might just be better to confirm town instead of confirm you. You will be confirmed eventually anyway, and I’m kinda doing a 180 here, but in end game I think it is more valuable to have one more confirmed town than a semi-confirmed investigator.
pedescribe: By all means be suspicious of me. I didn’t actually push for a alpha/beta claim, although I was floating the idea rather carelessly. Read my rants above and you’ll see that I have a tendency to rave away about ideas… I’ll try to limit myself in the future
It’s my surname. In Spanish, it can mean “Camera” and “Chamber”. My guess is its original meaning is more likely to be “Chamber”, though.
The question may be as long and as elaborate as I want it to be.
And, it’s three questions I may ask.
Crap crap crap! These days are too short, and I’ve been on the road all day and probably won’t be back until tomorrow night. I just realized that will be too late to vote then, and it’s after 1AM and I need to go to bed. What’s up toDay? There’s very little posting but a lot going on. I worry that we may be letting power roles do all the work for us. :dubious: And we’re not even certain about their claims yet–there’s no way to know for sure who’s telling the truth and about what. Can we trust DC? The knocks are there, but he could be lying about the questions.
I had a great reason to put my vote on him (the macey diversion vote), and now I have no other candidates jumping out at me. I imagine that there will be a flurry of voting tomorrow morning as you all decide what to make of the new claim, but I’m going to leave my vote where it is, try to get online in the morning, and see how things check out. We’ve all been suspicious of NAF’s claim–why are we so eager to believe DC? I mean, I’m leaning toward NAF being totally above board, but we’ve got to be cautious, people.
And why are we now claiming Alpha and Beta? I thought we had decided it was not a good idea, for fear of outing power roles. Even though I’m pretty much trusting NAF…
