Players are listed with the round they were drafted last year. Subtract two rounds for keeping this year. Players listed as “kept last year” are in their final year of eligibility. NOTE: Bolded players are NOT recommendations about who you should keep. I bold interesting prospects so that everyone else can see them at a glance.

Sorry, my bad. I get confused at the changing names. Yeah, that’s it. What, you mean you’re using the same name as you have in seasons past? Lalala I can’t hear you! heh.
A week after the season ended, I copy & pasted the entire season’s trade log to a spreadsheet. When I finally sat down to process it, I removed the trades/trade blocks so the only thing left were the Add/Drops, sorted, removed duplicates, then printed out the list of names to physically check against the ending rosters. Anyone on the list got removed. I then did the same kind of thing with the first 3 rounds of last year’s draft. Once all ineligibles had been removed I gathered the draft round status of everyone left and did a keeper pass to tag everyone kept last year and remove everyone that had been kept twice already.
(I also removed commish corrections, meaning if you claim-jumped and I reverted it, the guy you dropped to make room for the claim jump doesn’t lose his keeper eligibility.)
As crazy as it sounds, this was incredibly easy and effiicent compared to previous seasons when I didn’t have the free agent info but instead had to just compared the final rosters to the draft results. Doing it that way took like 15 minutes per team; with 14 teams I’d end up spending an hour a day on it for a week. This year took me like two hours from start to finish. I was stoked.
I’m happy to mail the spreadsheet to anyone who wants a copy, just drop me a PM. Extra eyes for verification never hurt anybody. It’s pretty compelling in that the “raw” worksheet is a formatted copy & paste, so it looks exactly like how it does on Yahoo! with the hyperlinked names and the little “note” icons next to the names. Even though the data is clearly authentic, that’s no guarantee human error couldn’t still be a factor.
You dropped Rashad Jennings Oct 17 12:14pm, replacing him with Deji Karim(Jac - RB). Jennings remained a free agent until Quentin’s JAMmer’s picked him up Christmas Eve.
Vincent Jackson (SD - WR) 8th round (that means it costs me a sixth rounder right?)
Darren McFadden (Oak - RB) 10th round (8th rounder)
Marshawn Lynch (Sea - RB) 12th round (10th rounder)
I kinda like that lineup’s value so far. Unfortunately, I know I can mess this up somehow. Maybe my Beanie Wells fetish or my “who needs an elite QB? Not I!” plan will rear their ugly heads.
