I don’t like rooting for injuries, so let’s just say I’ll root for Jonathan Taylor to pull an Andrew Luck and retire.
Also, his sister Rose was great in Jawbreaker.
4.05 Seth McGowan, RB, IND

I prefer his brother Tom McGowan, who I liked in Black Sails and Shameless.
I was always partial to the life advice and dental tips from their Irish cousin, Shane.
We’re down to the final 8 picks. On the plus side, we will be able to enjoy a proper waiver wire of undrafted players before the season starts. That’s a nice little (but non-trivial) bonus for our early start / fast pace.

4.08 Tyreek Hill, WR, somewhere somewhen
@Jules_Andre is on the clock
Damn, interesting pick! Not a bad stash, just in case.
4.09 - Malik Benson, WR, LV
@SenorBeef is up to start the 5th round
Yeah - I was pondering picks that would have been embarrassing to type. At least Hill is only a crazy idea
End the 4th round actually.
I’m thinking of drafting Jahan Dotson to have drafted the same player twice. But I’m sure I wouldn’t be the first person to do that in league history. Still, the idea is amusing. Anyway, working on the pick.
Eh, don’t love it. Doesn’t look good to me. But he’s a running back and he’s on a roster, even though he’s more mascot than player, and the services never produce good NFL players, what the hell, I like goofy last picks. There’s a chance they invent a weird hybrid role for him that keeps him relevant.
4.11 Eli Heidenreich, RB, Pittsburgh
I actually like my draft a decent bit despite it containing 3 players from the bad guys and 1 from the awful guys.
@Jules_Andre up with the 5.01
Oh, shit, I have two picks in a row. That makes this easier. Not easy because I feel stupid making these picks, but I’ve crossed off everything else.
5.01 - Alvin Kamara, RB, NO
5.02 - Daniel Jones, QB, Ind
Kamara is coming home to retire on my roster. Sure, he fractured a dude’s orbital bone for having the audacity of trying to enter an elevator, but that’s Vegas, baby. I was told that sort of stuff was supposed to stay there.
I never thought I would see the day Daniel Jones would darken the final spot on my roster. I’m furious. I had him written in as the 5.01, but I just can’t do that. And I need someone I can possibly start if things go as they typically do for Dak. Malik Willis has all the upside for fantasy but none of the environment. Between these two, I should have a decent enough option to not tank. As long as Danny Dipshit doesn’t trip over his own feet again
@Ol_Gaffer is up
I heard there was a wind advisory in Indianapolis. Something like 12 mph gusts. Both of his legs exploded.
Shower thought: How would people feel about inverting the draft process a bit next year?
We could start the draft earlier, say week 2 of the preseason, without making any cuts. Then, like the NFL does, we have a “final cuts” deadline that happens say 2 or 3 days after the NFL’s cut deadline.
This would probably cause a few effects, open for debate on if they are desired or not.
Maybe a topic for discussion next offseason. Maybe we’ve already explored this and rejected it, I can’t recall.
Sorry for the delay, I’m away from my computer. I’ll get my pick in around 6am tomorrow, PST.
David Njoku is available for trade. He’s probably going to go off this year with a proper QB for the first time (ever?) but I doubt he’s got many years left in the league.
This is interesting. I have been ruminating on it but do not yet have coherent thoughts other than it is, indeed, logistically possible.
5.04 Jacob Saylors, RB, DET
Peteys bringing up the rear.
5.05 Tre Tucker, WR, LV
6.01, Carson Beck, QB, ARI
No one is up next. Here’s to a good season.

Updated league history for next year’s thread:
(Year links point to draft results.)
The draft has been entered and completed which means that the new season begins, you can check your rosters for your current players. Please double check everyone on your roster, including kept players and rookies, looks correct. I entered a few hundred players and could’ve made a mistake.
We will also have the post-draft waiver with normal waiver rules.
