Keeper Rules

  1. You can only keep a maximum of 3 players.
  2. You can only keep players drafted after the second round (third rounders or later only.)
  3. A player can only be kept a maximum of twice. (Making 3 total roster years.)
  4. A kept player incurs a two round penalty (e.g: drafted in the 6th, kept in the 4th.)

Cam Newton was actually a 7th round pick last year… I had no sixth round pick. So he should be eligible to be kept in the 5th round.

Yeah, I know, it’s one spot difference since I pick 1st in round 5 - but I hope to trade down in that round.

Also, Stevie Johnson was a fourth round pick (I had two 4th and no 3rd), so I could keep him in the 2nd. Not bloody likely.

Looking at my list, I thought it was pretty crappy to only have one likely keeper. But Alfred Morris in the 10th is a good value, and it looks like very few other people have any more than one slam dunk keeper, so maybe I’m alright.

From three awesome keepers last year I am left with Mike Williams and Josh Freeman. I suspect a three-peat is not in the cards.

Hmm, I might actually have something to work with this year. Those 6-7-8-9 picks all have some potential to be decent and I think Wayne or Garcon could be solid keepers as those rookies develop.

Early guesses: Wayne, Leshoure and Jeffery.

I thought I posted here, I don’t know what happened. I accepted the invite and I’m in (I’m HungryHungryHaruspex). I’ll keep Demaryius Thomas in the 3rd and Jordy Nelson in the 6th. If you want the rights to Thomas, he’s available. Let me know what you have in mind. He’s currently averaging in the 20s for ADP.

I will have class until past 9 ET on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I would strongly prefer a Thursday/weekend draft.

I’m gonna keep Mendenhall too. Amusingly, I won’t have to trade any picks since I already pick last in odd rounds and all my keepers fall in them. The rights to all three keepers are available for trade, incidentally.
