Nobody expects the Spanish Inquistion,…eh Chinese terrorists.

They are really throwing everything at the wall for the last few hours. I guess no 2-hour finale. I like the shorter format - less filler. The Bratt chase would have taken 3 episodes in a full season, and it would have been interspersed with Jack’s daughter getting into totally non-related trouble concerning large cats.

So Chloe’s boyfriend’s plan hinged on Evil Mom’s plan failing?

AHA! I knew Chuck was innocent! He would never sell secrets to the Chinese.

I think that he got double crossed by the guy who stole the override device, but… not sure at this point. The first rule of watching 24 is you never remember things that happened more than one episode ago at most and try to make sense of them when you get new information.

Still, I’m enjoying this season immensely. The Russians AND the Chinese. That’s like the commie nazis or something!

His plan was wrecked when the device was stolen by one of his people and sold to the al-Harazzis. What help he gave was really him trying to get the device back.

As the season goes on I am finding it harder and harder to stomach a 40-year-old woman walking around in emo teen goth face paint. It was particularly cringe-worthy this week episode, what with the big emotional revelation. That spurred on a rousing wave of douche chills for me.

You’ll feel better about it if whenever you see her, you just play - YouTube Punk Rock Girl by the Dead Milkmen on a loop

Yes. It reeks of somebody in the writer’s room saying, “People liked that dragon girl tattoo thing, we should put something like that in our show so people will like it too.” What passes for creativity in Hollywood sometimes.

I had the same problem, they seem to have ramped up the make-up for this ep. Chloe’s entire story has been tough to buy. As Jack pointed out from the beginning, she has too much experience to have fallen in with these naifs.
